The International Association of GeoChemistry (IAGC) announced a number of annual Society Awards on April 22, 2021, the 52nd World Earth Day. Academician Wang Yanxin from CUG was elected as IAGC fellow. Another scholar who won this award in 2021 is Janet Hering, Academician of the US National Academy of Engineering and professor of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich.
