Current Research Interest:
1) mechanisms of microbially-mediated dolomite precipitation – Research work conducted on halophiles, sulfate reduction bacteria and iron/manganese oxidization/reduction bacteria.
2) Effect of environmental variation on microbial dolomite formation, including salinity, sulfate concentration, temperature, et al.
Research grants:
1) Comparative study of halophile with sulfate reduction pathway and halophile without sulfate reduction pathway for their molecular mechanisms in facilitating dolomite precipitation, funded by NSFC, 2016-2019.
